beekeeping on the moon

*Author’s note: written in clogyrnach format

It’s hard to think when you’re alone
save for the humming, constant drone
of your little swarm,
exiled to conform
to the norm of unknown.

Minds become hivelike after years
of thin air, buzzing in your ears.
What are honeycombs
but craters? Boxed homes,
catacombs leaving smears.
